Dr. Lulu Massri is a skilled optometrist with over 10 years of experience, Dr. Massri is currently the Owner of True Eye Care and Associates, with two separate locations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She specializes in comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses fitting, diabetic eye evaluations, dry eye treatment, myopia management, glaucoma evaluation, as well as emergencies such as red eye and foreign body removal. Additionally, Dr. Massri provides primary eye care through comprehensive eye examinations to detect and treat various visual abnormalities and eye diseases.
Dr. Massri’s journey to becoming a doctor began when she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Michigan in 2008. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in 2012.
Having worked in many practices in South Florida, she has also worked at Laser Vision Care Center in Michigan, evaluating pre and post cataracts and lasik patients.
Continuously excelling in her field, among Dr. Massri’s has been Recognized for Outstanding Service at VOSH Dominican Republic Trip in 2010, and in 2011 she received the IAUPR Appreciation Award for VOSH student president. In 2012 she was awarded the Scholarship for Excellence in the Area of Primary Care, the Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care, Outstanding work as VOSH Leadership Award, and the Award Certificate in Wellness Program Service. Continue to be regarded as a leader in her field she was then named America’s Top Optometrists of 2013 and 2016, as well as Top Optometrist in Miami and Broward in 2022.
Outside of the office, Dr. Massri enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her two daughters. Speaks English, Arabic, and Spanish.
